Filanthi Rooms and Apartments
Filanthi was the name of my grandmother. In greek, it means "the friend of the flowers".And she was indeed a friend of them. In her big garden, in her own stone-made traditional home, she planted many. This is our place:a big, two-floor,traditionaly built home, surounded by a garden,right infront of the sea and the castle.
My father continued caring for his fathers and mothers home, which was turned into a simple hotel. Simplicity and tradition are the key words here. We don't try to sell luxury. We do try to help you experience your vacations in a way very different from your city life. Rooms are equiped with all necesities, and of course we offer wifi and airconditioning, tv, hot water,cleaning...
But, as you enter, just look at the view,
relax and feel the atmosphere.
We have 8 places for you,that were renovated fully in 2008,and are continuously renovated in small part of them every year since then. Most of them are entirely different from one another. Some of them have kitchen,and some do not. Most of them have direct view to the sea and castle,and all have access to our great terrace,where you can sit and enjoy the view.
We are situated infront of the main square, where there are plenty of taverns and a cafeteria.
The access to the beach is instant. This beach is very calm,shallow and safe for children and people that do not feel inclined to swim against waves...
